The print is inspired by Maija Isola’s iconic Unikko pattern, specifically the flower stems, which are seen here in bending forms and overlapping arcs. Kekki also incorporated the flower center of Unikko into Seppel, represented by the various pink dots among the curved shapes. The versatile size of the bowl will be ideal for everything from soup, snacks, desserts and more, and the design will be an eclectic addition to an existing collection of Marimekko dinnerware. The bowl is made of microwave, oven, freezer and dishwasher safe white stoneware for long-lasting use.
